Position: Senior Director (Program, Resource & Learning)

Job Description/Responsibilities:
Oversee the performance of Program, Resource and Learning (PRL) central unit. Promote Strategic relations and partnerships to enhance BRAC’s relevance in Bangladesh and other BRAC operating countries. This includes mapping and approaching potential partners, including traditional donors, new philanthropists, corporations and governments as well as networking and collaborating for emerging funding opportunities. Lead a dynamic team to coordinate with programmes in developing and designing innovative and high quality proposals built upon the knowledge base on latest funding trends, policies and innovations for priority focus areas that align with the organization’s current and expanding core business. Provide timely and accurate tracking of programme pipeline, analysis of outputs and reporting. Develop and drive a culture of excellence through knowledge management, continuous improvement and performance optimization across all programme development processes. Build a global network of staff across BRAC, BRAC International and Affiliates that work in collaboration to achieve greater visibility, a reputation as a partner of choice and generate opportunities for increased impact. Design and lead efforts to improve organizational and programme-level planning such as strategy development, annual operating plans, log frames and link these to reflective activities designed to spur programmatic improvement and capture practical learning. Provide guidance in implementing strategies and practices necessary to build up systems for effective collaboration, information sharing and quality control related to programme development and implementation among partners and BRAC staff. Lead teams who deliver on the key areas of accountability through their leadership, collaboration, coordination and support to all BRAC International country offices and BRAC Development Programmes and Support Departments
Educational Requirements:
Master’s in Business Administration, Economics, Management, International Relations or other relevant field. Additional years of relevant work experience, preferably in combination with a relevant bachelor’s degree, may substitute for the requirement for a master’s degree.
Experience Requirements:
At least 18 years of progressively responsible experience in an international organization that includes leading roles in programme development, partnerships, organizational learning and/or stakeholder management/communication.
Additional Job Requirements:
Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a complex international setting with proven track record of people and team management and development Significant experience of leading strategic planning and in program designing and proposal development A strong understanding of different methodologies of logframes (including the formats required by major donors) Demonstrated evidences in successfully leading team for fund raising in a collaborative manner The ability to effectively establish a learning culture within an organization Experience in successfully establishing and managing collaborative relationships and partnerships with donors and government counterparts in Bangladesh and beyond. Experience of management diversity. Participate in organizational planning and reflection sessions Represent BRAC at various domestic and international functions Measure performance of team members in a consistent and structured way Fluency in verbal and written English is required.
