Description / Responsibility
·
Understand
the cost of components and variables of construction designs.
·
Measure
and quantify all cost components of Steel & Civil Project.
·
Prepare
draft budget and fund requirement forecast.
·
Prepare
material requirement schedule according to the project schedule.
·
Clear
idea of specification of materials mentioned by the designer and also the
market price and source.
·
Prepare
comprehensive tender documents for construction biding.
·
Monitoring
quantity and quality check from starting to finishing of construction works and
assess variance from the schedules, BOQ and advice adjustment.
·
Assess
and provide estimation of any change / modification of the design in short
time.
·
Prepares
work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting
priorities.
·
Able
to read and analyze all types of drawings.
·
Prepares
construction budget by studying home plans; updating specifications;
identifying and projecting costs for each elevation.
·
Evaluates
offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements.
·
Obtains
bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying
qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.
·
Maintains
cost keys and price masters by updating information.
·
Resolves
cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
·
Prepares
special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and
trends.
·
Able
to prepare standard BOQ of each individual project/work and convenient with
PWD/LGED rate analysis and BOQ.
·
Able
to check subcontractor bills
·
Able
to compare budgeted quantity & amount with actual work done
·
Maintains
quality service by following organization standards.
·
Maintains
continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions,
irregularities, and continuing needs.
